Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Velero Labs L.L.C. ("Velero Labs", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Viaz mobile app ("Viaz"). By using Viaz, you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Using Viaz
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, and legally able to accept these terms. You sign in with an Apple or Google account and are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
Your photos and trips stay yours. You give us a limited license to store and process them only to provide Viaz, including generating your videos. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that remain for a limited time in backups.
You confirm that you have the rights needed for the content you add, and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload illegal content, or content that exploits or harms others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer Viaz, or to bypass its limits.
- Do not use Viaz to infringe anyone's rights.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Plans
The Free plan has monthly limits, may show ads, and adds a watermark to videos. Viaz Pro offers higher limits and additional features, as described in the app. We may change limits and features, and will not reduce what you have already paid for during a current billing period without a fair remedy.
Subscriptions
- Viaz Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
- Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically, at the current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
- You manage and cancel it in your store account. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules.
- If the price changes, the store will notify you as its rules require.
Videos
Generated videos are available for 7 days, so save the ones you want to keep. You may use and share your videos for personal purposes. Viaz, its templates, styles, maps, and designs remain ours or our licensors'.
Availability
We work to keep Viaz running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, or that a video will always be generated without errors. We may change or discontinue features.
Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, Viaz is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Maps and place names are for illustration and may contain inaccuracies.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the law of your country.
Apple
If you downloaded Viaz from the App Store, these terms are between you and Velero Labs, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Viaz or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to Viaz. If Viaz fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree to the App Store usage rules.
Ending your use
You can stop using Viaz and delete your account at any time from Settings. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, remain in effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. This does not take away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by other means if the changes are important. If you keep using Viaz after they take effect, you accept them.
